Meeting Ellen MacArthur, circular Economy
My question to Ellen MacArthur... “One day somehow I wanted to sail around the world… I saved my lunch money every day and ticked off every £ with 100 squares I had laid out… I took only 72 days worth of equipment, only what I needed to break the world record… I understood the world differently… the challenge of living with finite resources… is there another way? Can we move from a linear economy to a circular economy? A regenerative economy… can it work? Can we still grow…? We studied it with Mckinsey and found the answer was Yes Yes Yes.”
Me: if you had one magic wish, what would it be?
EM: ...if every design [every service and product] could be re-thought as circular...
